Dia De Los Muertos (or Day of the Dead) in Mexico and Latin America is to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed away. It’s a time of prayer & communicating with the dead but also a time to celebrate your life. Traditions include building an altar to loved ones adorned with sugar skulls, tall candles, Marigold flowers, enjoying a feast of their favourite food and visiting graves with these as gifts.
